Research, Innovation and Impact Services

I have worked at Staffordshire University for four years. Following my graduation I was employed in the Voluntary Sector managing a project funded by Neighbourhood Renewal, with a focus on awarding and monitoring grants for community and voluntary organisations within Stoke-on-Trent. Within this role I wrote constitutions, led inaugural meetings and facilitated business planning. I have always taken an interest in the regeneration of the local area, I volunteered for two years as a grants appraiser for a local AIDS Charity and in 2005 I participated in a Common Purpose Focus programme for North Staffordshire. These experiences enabled me to widen my view on regeneration and make strategic networks with fellow colleagues from the public, private and third sector.
