Vice President

Leah Thompson is one of the elected Full Time Officers in Staffordshire Students Union, serving as a Vice President.

As part of their role, Leah also sits on the Board of Governors as a student representative. Leah is strongly passionate about students and the University as a whole and always looks forward to speaking on behalf of the student body.

Having started university during the COVID pandemic, Leah studied at the University of Staffordshire for 4 years, first completing their BA Games Art (completed in 2023) before progressing onto their masters MA Games Art (completed in 2024). As part of their current role in the Officer Team, Leah acts as one of three student representatives of the Union and has a number of goals that they aim to achieve over the year. The projects Leah is working on during this year range from creating a more lively on-campus experience to ensuring students have what they need to study.
