Tasha Cork

President of University of Staffordshire Students' Union

As President of Staffordshire Students' Union, Natasha Cork leads the Elected Officer team and works to represent the interests of students across the University. She also serves as a Student Governor and chairs the Students' Union's Board of Trustees, ensuring student voices are represented at the highest levels of decision-making.

Natasha's priorities for her term include student-led safety, belonging and inclusion, and strengthening student voice and transparency. She is passionate about building strong communities, improving collaboration between students and the University, and ensuring students can see how their feedback leads to meaningful change.

Born and raised in Stoke-on-Trent, Natasha is passionate about her local heritage and the communities that make Staffordshire unique. As a first-generation university student who began her own journey through a foundation year, she is particularly passionate about ensuring higher education remains accessible and that students from all backgrounds have the opportunity to succeed.

Natasha is a Policing and Criminal Investigation student at the University of Staffordshire, with a particular interest in community safety, violence against women and girls, and improving trust between communities and public services. Her academic background, lived experience and work in student campaigning inform her approach to representing students and creating positive change across the University.
