Netball

University of Staffordshire - Netball

Welcome to the page of Staffs Saints Netball club. Netball has been associated with Staffs University for a long time and throughout our years we have always had one focus. This is to engage students into an environment which allows them to bring out the best in themselves whilst playing sport and having fun. As a club we welcome students of all abilities to come join netball whether they want to play either competitively or just for the social side.

Our BUCS team are in Midlands League 5 competing against universities such as Warwick and Worcester. We are placing comfortably in the middle of the table each season; however, we are hoping for better this year!

Last season we created our development team, which is once again being run by one of our BUCS players Hannah. This team is for those who wish to have more game time and take netball to the next level, but they don’t feel quite ready or do not want to join the competitive team.

Furthermore, we are continuing to run our social sessions which are open to absolutely everyone! Creating friendships and developing skills whilst also having a load of fun.
