Staffordshire University Sports - Women's Futsal Club
Welcome to Staff’s Uni Women’s futsal team. We have been expanding our team over the past few years and finished last year on a high after finishing 3rd in the Midlands Tier 2B league, making it to the quarter finals of the Midlands Conference Cup and winning our varsity for a second year in a row. This year we hope to carry on progressing as a team and get more girls involved in futsal. We offer training sessions to fit everyone whether they are new to the sport or have some experience playing. We are currently recruiting for new players to join our team. Many of our returning girls started having never played futsal before and now love it, so don’t be scared to try it out.
We play competitively on two tournament days within the year (one first semester and one second semester), as well as in a knockout cup competition. This year we will be playing in the Midland Tier 2B league and will be travelling to Wolverhampton for our tournament days.
We are connected to the Women’s Football team as many of the girls who play futsal, also play football.
