Here, Shyni shares what a typical day looks like while studying her MBA at University of Staffordshire. Morning - commuting and lecture I start my day by attending lectures, especially supply chain modules which I really enjoy and want to build my career in. Midday - independent study After class, I spend time in the library reviewing concepts and working on assignments. Afternoon - Seminar & group work In the afternoon, I work with classmates on group discussions, which helps me learn different perspectives. Evening - part-time work In the evening, I balance my studies with part-time work, which helps me gain practical experience in the UK. Night - Reflection I end my day by revising and planning for the next day. From lectures and library study sessions to collaborative group work and gaining practical experience through part-time employment, Shyni’s MBA journey is helping her build the skills and confidence needed for a future in procurement and supply chain management. By combining academic learning with real-world experience, she’s developing the knowledge to analyse operations, make strategic decisions and prepare for the next stage of her career - proving that it’s never too late to invest in your future.
