Animation

I am an experienced Animation Professional who has been a Senior Lecturer for nineteen years, now course Leader of the tenth ranking animation degree course in the UK [Animation Career Review 2026].

I am passionate about teaching; my expertise, accumulated during my animation career and my wide ranging knowledge and love of the history of animation and film, animation techniques of the past and future and my love of art and drawing. My motivation lies in sharing my knowledge and skills to the next generation of fully rounded, skilled industry professionals.

My own work has always tested the boundaries of each animation medium and the hybridising of various animation techniques has become a staple of our course. We are now proud to combine emerging digital advances and home grown craft skills at every level.

My own practice-based research has led to immersive experiences in virtual reality utilizing photogrammetry and gaussian splat technology to create digital site-specific experiences of analogue street art. I create virtual experiences using a visual narrative to engage the explorer in a dynamic creative situations.
