I qualified as a nurse in 1986 and have had a varied career in nursing eventually specialising in emergency care. I then worked as the Clinical Placement Facilitator at Mid Staffordshire which began my link with the university. I started at the university as a lecturer in Dignity in care in 2010 and am now a senior lecturer and course lead for adult nursing in Stoke, Stafford and Shrewsbury.
