Mark Kenwright

Mark has been a qualified Mental Health Nurse for over 30 years, and an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist for 25 years. He gained his Research Doctorate (PhD) at the Institute of Psychiatry / Kings College London and was a Clinical Lead for NHS Talking Therapies with two NHS Trusts, as well as a Regional Clinical Lead with NHS England. Mark was previously a Course Director for the Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at the University of Staffordshire. He now leads a programme of research with the Mental Health Nursing Team alongside his role as Senior Lecturer. Mark has published research on psychological therapies and Mental Health Nursing in a range of international journals as well as a book chapter. He leads on Mental Health Simulation and teaching proficiencies in psychological / talking therapies.
