My experience from the hospitality industry from a young age, has put me in good stead for success in the academic industry. I have gained employment from the States working for Marriott international, as well as here in the UK for large hotel corporations.
My talent management and character development lead me to education, and I share my lived experiences with the students to help them understanding theories and concepts taught. I ensure all my sessions are individual for the group I teach ensuring they are interactive, engaging and encouraging.
My lived experiences are passed on through my session, and I ensure they are all relevant and up to date. Through the placement module and connections at Alton Towers resort, I ensure that students passions and interests are embraced and I am fully supportive of there career chooses.
