Victoria Gilbert

Lecturer

Digital, Tech, Innovation & Business

Prior to lecturing within Higher Education I worked for an International Communications Organisation, NHS and within several Further Education Establishments within the local area. My first position within the NHS was within an Administration Management Position within an Estates Department. Experience whereby I had a varied responsibilities from HR to monitoring commercial and internal contracts.

Experience within the department enabled me to progress into a further Management Positions within Workforce Development Department/Learning and Development whereby I was responsible for training and developing Education programmes within the Trust and externally for the local community.

With a passion for Education and developing others I decided to progress into Further Education and Higher Education lecturing. I have never looked back since I joined the University.
