What's NOT included

  • TV licence - if you plan on watching live TV, or services that require a licence in your bedroom, it is your responsibility to purchase a TV licence.
  • Car parking space - University Accommodation is all in walking distance of classes, and we encourage all students to do their bit for the environment and use public transport when travelling about the city. However, should you need to bring your car, then you will need to apply for a permit.

Location

College Court is the only accommodation offering on College Road. It's a 12 minute walk to the centre of our College Road site, and around 20 minutes to Leek Road, either through Hanley Park or the main roads. Stoke-on-Trent Railway station is a 13 minute walk from College Court.

Hanley Park is located right outside your front door. This expansive green space includes tennis and basketball courts, a bowling green, football pitches and a cricket ground. You can also take a walk around the lake, or enjoy the nature garden. 

From College Court, you can walk into Hanley town centre in just 15 minutes. Here you will find shops, bars and restaurants, theatres and gig venues, a cinema, art galleries and museums, and more.
