Welcome to the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute, Nottingham!
On behalf of our teaching and admin staff teams and our wider community of students and graduates, it gives us great pleasure to welcome you to the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute and to your Staffordshire University validated degree course. We hope that you find your time studying with us to be exciting, stimulating, stretching and life changing as you prepare to join the professions of counselling and psychotherapy and that you will find, as many who have trained with us have found, that you make relationships which will last beyond the course and sustain you into the work you engage in post qualification. I would like to extend a very warm welcome to you as a Staffordshire University student studying at one of our partner institutions. You may be studying closer to home, or studying a specialised course that matches your interests, but you are as much a student of the University as those students who study with us on our main University campuses.

When do I need to enrol?
You will receive an invitation via email to invite you to complete your online enrolment. Please ensure you do this as soon as possible as this will give you access to a range of University resources and information to help you to prepare for your new course.
When your course is ready for you to complete your enrolment, you will receive a separate email with your enrolment invitation. These invitations are being sent out over the course of late July and Early August. Please make sure you keep checking your email account.
