Here you can see some of our latest campus transformation projects coming to life as we move towards our 2030 campus masterplan.

Beacon Esports Expansion

Expanding our Esports provision in Stoke-on-Trent with £2.7m investment in new facilities in the Beacon building including a bespoke esports arena and dedicated broadcast studio galleries.

Simulation Suite in Ashley 2

Ashley 2 Simulation

We are transforming our Ashley 2 building with over £2.2m investment in new, state-of-the-art simulation facilities to bring crime scene to courtroom in one building.

Performance Centre

Refurbishment works will see various interior and exterior improvements carried out ranging from roofing works and sustainable LED lighting installations through to window refurbishments and floor renovations made across the building.

Centre for Health Innovation

A state-of-the-art £5.8 million Centre for Health Innovation powered through the Government’s Getting Building Fund incorporating sector-leading clinical simulation and immersion suites.

Woodlands Day Nursery and Forest School

Located close to the University's nature reserve, this brand new £4.4m facility, which is carbon neutral, features four inspirational learning spaces enhanced with digital technology and a forest school provision.

Innovation Enterprise Zone

One of 20 University Enterprise Zones (UEZs), launched with a £20 million investment by Research England, part of UK Research and Innovation. This investment has funded new incubation space and a hatchery for start-up companies on our main Stoke-on-Trent campus and offers unprecedented access to specialist advanced materials, manufacturing and digital facilities in our innovation ecosystem.

River Trent Restoration

A 450-metre stretch of the River Trent through Staffordshire University has been re-naturalised – providing another link in the chain for a joined-up wildlife corridor though the heart of Stoke-on-Trent.

Since launching in September 2019, Staffordshire University London has been working hard to build upon our initial successes and have been working to achieve an ambitious set of plans for their next stage developments. To this extent, Phase 2 involves creating unique spaces for work and social activity to enhance the experience for all.
