In depth exploration of a research question involving personal research undertaken over 12-72 months (depending on mode of study) under the expert guidance of a supervisory team in Law.
Undertaking a project of around 80,000 words under expert supervision, exploring your topic and producing a thesis from your research in preparing for your viva in which you will defend your thesis.
MPhil (40,000 words) minimum registration 1.5-2 years
PhD (80,000 words) minimum registration 2.5-3 years
