Entry requirements

Undergraduate

Undergraduate (bachelors) degrees

To apply for an undergraduate (bachelors) degree you need one of the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in a relevant subject with a minimum grade of 70%
  • International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma with 28 points overall
  • Successful completion of a relevant International Foundation Year from a recognised UK Institution
  • For A-Level requirements, please see the ‘entry requirements’ section on the relevant course page

Integrated masters and two-year accelerated degrees

To apply for an integrated masters or two-year accelerated degree you need one of the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in a relevant subject with a minimum grade of 70%
  • International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma with 30 points overall
  • Successful completion of a relevant International Foundation Year from a recognised UK Institution
  • For A-Level requirements, please see the ‘entry requirements’ section on the relevant course page

Postgraduate

Courses requiring a 2:1 degree

  • Bachelor Degree (with Honours) in a relevant subject area with a minimum grade of 80%

Courses requiring a 2:2 degree

  • Bachelor Degree (with Honours) in a relevant subject area with a minimum grade of 80%

English language requirements

To demonstrate your language proficiency as being equivalent to CEFR B2, we accept the following qualifications from your country:

  • Ordinary Level Certificate of Education with grade 1-6/D1-C6

Please note that these qualifications are valid at University of Staffordshire for a period of 5 years since the test was taken, unless otherwise stated above.

As an international student, you'll need to show proof of funds before your CAS can be issued. It's essential to plan ahead, meet payment deadlines, and budget carefully, as payment instalments cannot usually be changed. Tuition fees cannot be paid in cash, so please arrange your first instalment before travelling to the UK, as you won't be able to open a bank account until you enrol. Paying your deposit

If you’re an international fee-payer, you will need to pay a deposit to secure your place.

  • Full-time, on-campus courses: £6,500
  • Sponsored students: No deposit required, please send your sponsorship letter to the International Admissions team.
  • Blended learning LPC: £500
  • Distance learning: No deposit required

Please note that the University reserves the right to close admissions early. Therefore, we recommend that applicants make their deposit payments early to avoid disappointment. You can make your deposit payment via our trusted payment partner, Convera or Flywire. Your deposit is your commitment to study at University of Staffordshire and is usually non-refundable. If you require a Student visa, we won’t be able to start processing your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) until your deposit has been received and cleared by our bank. Please refer to your offer letter for full details of the Pre-CAS requirements and CAS issuance process.

International Admissions Deadlines

To help you arrive on time to begin your studies, we have set clear deadlines for submitting your documents and evidence. If you are unable to meet the deadlines shown below, please contact the International Admissions team so that we can discuss your individual circumstances.

Please note: if you do not submit requested documents and/or evidence in time for us to meet the unconditional offer deadline listed below, you will receive an unconditional offer for the next available intake of your chosen course.
