I am a senior lecturer and have over ten years of teaching experiencing and have lectured on a variety of, research, subject specific (tourism, hospitality and events industry based), enterprise and management modules to a range of students undertaking their foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications.

I have also lectured in several international destinations including Cambodia and Poland and have also been a visiting scholar and block taught in China at Chongxing University and Xiamen University.

Prior to teaching I worked in industry for fifteen years with an extensive commercial background and have experience of operation management. I have also been a client manager helping to build and maintain relationships, and then as an event organiser - planning, organising and delivering numerous art events both nationally and internationally.

  • FHEA certification – University of Central Lancashire


Her areas of expertise include: tourism, hospitality, event management and enterprise. 

Enterprise and commercial interests

I have extensive experience of working with both UK and International partners.

I firmly believe that we need to preserve the best of our culture and nature for generations to come.

Separate to lecturing, I am a joint CEO and major shareholder of a building environmental controls company that specialises in reducing carbon footprints via environmentally friendly energy management systems in commercial buildings.
