Dr Elodie Van der Berg is a Lecturer of Law on the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Law pathways at the University of Staffordshire. She is an early career researcher and brings professional and practical expertise to her role. Her focus is on international law in areas of human rights and state governance in statehood.

On the postgraduate provisions, her teaching and research is centred around international law and international criminal law. She has taught on all levels of the undergraduate pathways and she particularly enjoys her involvement in mooting activities.

She has worked on research with the United Nations to assess the rights of persons with rare diseases in the United Kingdom.
