Jamie Tranter

Digital, Tech, Innovation & Business

I am a Lecturer in Games Technical Design and PhD Researcher within the field of Player Agency with nearly a decade of experience in Unreal Engine.

I started teaching on the Games Masters courses before moving into the Technical Design Specialisms for the Final Year modules of our Undergraduate degrees. From there I have progress onto becoming a leader on Engine Tool creation and User Interface Design.

Outside of teaching I am currently working on my PhD in Games Technologies focussing on the implementation of Player Agency into games systems as well as further research studies into communication within games.
