Health, Education, Policing and Sciences

I lecturer on both the Professional Policing and Police and Criminal Investigation Undergraduate Degree courses. I joined the University of Staffordshire In 2023 having completed a MSc in Leadership in Policing and have since completed the PGCHPE qualification and become a fellow of the FHEA. I teach across all modules with particular interest in Response Policing and custody.

I joined Staffordshire Police as a Police cadet and subsequently became a regular officer where I completed 30 years service. I worked throughout the county in Response and Neighbourhood Policing departments as well as the CID and Custody. I completed my service as a Response Inspector. In addition to my role I was trained in Public Order, Police Liaison Teams and also Trauma Risk Incident Management.
