After graduating from Staffordshire University in 2010, I have worked at several hospitals across the west midlands in both the NHS and private sector’s covering various roles within the operating theatre, including Urology Theatre Lead, Gynaecology Theatre Lead/Deputy Theatre Co-Ordinator alongside being a Practice Educator for learners.
I have a keen interest for the enhanced role in surgery and I am a qualified surgical first assistant.
As the course lead for direct entry BSc (Hons) in Operating Department Practice I contribute to both the teaching and planning for both direct entry and apprenticeship students.
