Sarah Bateman

Lecturer

Paramedic Science

Since qualifying as a Paramedic in 2009, I have accumulated a broad range of clinical experience across emergency, forensic, and critical care transport settings. My professional practice has included frontline ambulance work, forensic healthcare provision as a Custody Paramedic, and the transfer of critically ill patients on a High Dependency service operating nationwide. In 2023, I moved into Higher Education, where I now work as a full-time Lecturer. During this time, I have further developed my academic practice and successfully completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.
