Duration

University of Staffordshire postgraduate courses are usually 1 academic year duration when studying full-time and 2-3 academic years duration for part-time.

Course content

The Entrepreneurial Leadership and Innovation MSc explores what it takes to lead innovation in an increasingly complex and technology-driven world. Rather than focusing solely on starting new businesses, you'll develop an entrepreneurial mindset that helps you identify opportunities, navigate uncertainty and create lasting impact within organisations of all sizes.

Throughout the course, you'll explore contemporary approaches to entrepreneurial leadership, innovation frameworks and organisational change, alongside the role of emerging technologies, including AI, in shaping the future of work. You'll also examine how organisational culture, learning and psychological safety can help innovative ideas succeed.

Learning is practice-led, with assessments designed to help you tackle and solve real organisational challenges through coursework, presentations and reflective activities. The programme culminates in an Entrepreneurial Innovation Impact Project, allowing you to investigate an issue that matters to your organisation or professional interests.

Designed for part-time study through blended learning, this course offers the flexibility to balance your studies alongside existing professional commitments.

Modules

The tables provide an indicative list of the modules that make up the course for the current academic year. Each module is worth a specified number of credits. Our teaching is informed by research, and modules change periodically to reflect developments in the discipline. We aim to ensure that all modules run as scheduled. If for any reason a module cannot be run we will advise you as soon as possible and will provide guidance on selecting an appropriate alternative module.

Sources of financial support

Providing you are studying towards a full Masters qualification you may be able to apply for a postgraduate loan to help with tuition fees, maintenance and other associated costs. Student loans are available for many of our postgraduate degrees and are provided by the Student Loans Company (SLC). The loan can cover a wide range of postgraduate study options; part-time, full-time and distance learning.
