How to apply

Application journey for undergraduate courses

  1. Choose your course – explore your options and check the entry requirements for your country.
  2. Submit your application – whether through UCAS, an approved agent, or directly to University of Staffordshire, we’ll support you with your next steps.
  3. Application review – our admissions team carefully considers your qualifications and documents. 
  4. Receive your offer – Conditional (if we need more evidence, such as English language results) or Unconditional. Once you have your offer, download the Campus Connect app – your personal guide to stay updated, connect with support teams, and get comfortable with university life before you arrive.
  5. Accept your offer – easily through UCAS or the Beacon app. 
  6. Meet your conditions – upload your transcripts, English language evidence, and any other requested documents via Beacon.
  7. Pay your deposit – £4,000, paid securely through Convera.
  8. Pre-CAS interview – if required, you will be asked to complete an interview to confirm your study intentions.  We are partnering with Enroly CAS Shield, a trusted partner platform, to verify your details before we issue your CAS.  Your interview will happen in this platform.
  9. Finance check – you will be asked to provide information and evidence relating to your financial situation. We are partnering with Enroly CAS Shield, a trusted partner platform, to verify your details before we issue your CAS.  Your documents will need to be uploaded into this platform for the check to take place.
  10. CAS draft issued – Once you’ve met all the pre-CAS checks, you’ll receive a notification from Enroly CAS Shield asking you to check, review and confirm all of the information for your CAS letter.  Where you need to make changes you can do that in Enroly CAS Shield and we will review those when completed.
  11. Receive your CAS – your official Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies.
  12. Apply for your Student Visa – including TB test if applicable, plus the Immigration Health Surcharge.
  13. Apply for accommodation – choose on-campus living or apply through GreenPad, the Students’ Union’s trusted private housing service.
  14. Prepare to travel – join our pre-departure webinars and get ready for life at Staffordshire.
  15. Arrive in the UK and enrol – we’ll be here to welcome you on campus.

Application journey for postgraduate courses

  1. Choose your course – explore our postgraduate degrees and check the entry and English language requirements.
  2. Submit your application – apply directly through the University of Staffordshire portal or with the help of an approved agent.
  3. Application review – our admissions team carefully reviews your academic and professional background.
  4. Receive your offer – Conditional or Unconditional. Once you have your offer, download the Campus Connect app – your personal guide to stay updated, connect with support teams, and feel a part of Staffordshire before you arrive.
  5. Accept your offer – simply through the Beacon app.
  6. Meet your conditions – upload transcripts, certificates, references, and English language evidence, as required.
  7. Pay your deposit – £4,000, paid securely through Convera.

  13. Apply for accommodation – choose on-campus living or apply through GreenPad, the Students’ Union’s trusted private housing service.
  14. Prepare for your course start – share your visa outcome, complete online enrolment, orientation modules, and set up your eVisa with UKVI.
  15. Arrive in the UK and enrol – we’ll be ready to welcome you to our community.
