Earn while you learn

Embark on a fulfilling career in law enforcement through our Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) and Degree Holder Entry Programmes (DHEP). With PCDA, become a Student Officer while earning your degree, actively contributing to crime prevention. For graduates in any field, DHEP offers the chance to achieve the necessary qualification while working as a fully operational student police officer, ensuring a rewarding and comprehensive path into policing.

Step up to Policing

Do you want to pursue a policing career but don’t yet meet the entry requirements to get onto a policing programme?

We offer a flexible distance learning course to help you to develop key academic skills – this is specifically designed for pre-degree learners who wish to progress onto a policing degree programme here at Staffordshire University.

This course will allow you to progress onto our Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship or our Professional Policing pre-join degree.
