We will introduce you to our innovative five-stage approach to simulation, which builds your real-world skills and confidence. You will also get a brief overview of the rest of the Open Day.

Immerse yourself in a patient’s journey as health teams spring into action to treat them following an accident.

Our simulated emergency will be led by current students and staff, who will show you the crucial roles played by paramedics, nurses, operating department practitioners and midwives. You’ll get the chance to be involved too.

Join us for the Student Panel, a Q&A session where Health students share real insights on university life — from commuting and balancing studies to finding your place as a mature student.

Managing your finances

Our unmissable talk will bust some of the myths about tuition fees and student debt. We’ll also cover student loans and details of our bursaries and scholarships which help make studying affordable.

You can get tips on your money too – including budgeting for accommodation, travel and living expenses – and explore opportunities to find part-time work.

We have an innovative way to explore our brand-new student village during Open Days. Visitors can step into the heart of our accommodation using Virtual Reality headsets, offering a fully immersive 360° sneak peek inside our gold classic room offering — as if you're standing right in the centre of it. It’s the next best thing to being there!

But that’s not all — we’ve taken innovation a step further by integrating our accommodation layout into StaffsVerse, our custom-built virtual campus available on the popular game Fortnite. Whether you're a gamer or just curious, you can walk through the village, interact with key outdoor space to immerse yourself and gain a feel of the layout.
