It's vital that you enrol online before the academic year starts. This process only takes 15 minutes and can be completed through our e:Vision portal. Following the link below will take you to our enrolment hub where you can find the answers to any questions you may have.

Both new and returning students need to complete this step to continue their studies into the 2024 academic year.

Your timetable and start date

All students studying on campus at our Stoke-on-Trent campus, Stafford Centre of Health Innovation and University of Staffordshire London benefit from access to a personalised digital timetable which can be found by using the Beacon App.

Timetables will be available at the end of July onwards, subject to your enrolment invite.

You'll also find details of any course trips and special equipment you may need to make the most of your course.

Your Students' Union

The Students' Union has you covered from cocktail making and club nights to vintage clothing fairs and quiz nights. Take a look at the event calendar and get involved - tickets to the most popular events sell out fast, so don't delay! Keep checking back as new exciting events will be added to the schedule.


On Campus Venues

Whether you're looking to catch up with friends over coffee, or attend an exciting club night, our on campus venues have you covered. During Welcome Week, events take place across our on campus venues where you'll be able to meet our friendly student services teams, connect with new friends, attend club nights and much more.

Ember Lounge Venue

Open throughout the week, Ember Lounge is the Unions’ number one daytime and evening venue for a great range of food and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments.  

Ember Lounge is host to its massive Karaoke night every Tuesday and the Big Quiz every Sunday night. Find us opposite the Henrion Building, underneath the main Students’ Union space.

Squeeze in Verve

Squeeze is an amazing alcohol-free space, serving the best coffee from our partners at Roastology, made to order smoothies and milkshakes, top quality alcohol-free beers, soft drinks and mocktails.

Come join us and enjoy the relaxed vibes. Pop into our venue on Leek Road where you can chill on a beanbag in our indoor beach huts or browse our community bookcase.

LRV is your events hub on campus, home to a variety of club nights, including the Welcome Party!

LRV is situated on Leek Road campus, it's just a stone's throw from all of the Halls of Residence.

Stafford welcome

Parking

If you intend to park on one of our car parks regularly, you can apply for a parking permit from Car Parking Partnership (CPP)<https://www.cpppermitsystem.co.uk/staffordshireuniversity/login.php>. Student permits for the 2024/24 academic year are priced at £15 per quarter. 

You must have completed online enrolment before you can apply for a parking permit, as you will require your Student ID number to complete the application process.

Parking restrictions will be enforced from the beginning of October.
