Our students

Joining Staffordshire University Business School has turned out to be the best decision I’ve made in relation to my career and future prospects. The team at the business school have been amazing and continue to offer me all of the encouragement I could ever want to aim towards a first class degree. Something I couldn’t have even imagined a year before in the world of sales management.

Craig Holdcroft

Business Management

My last 3 years at Staffordshire university have given me more than I could have asked for. I was given an opportunity to work a years placement during my sandwich degree, I gained major knowledge and experience within my career field and to top it off I was offered my graduate job out of it. My time here with the other students and lecturers have been magical in terms of support and wellbeing. The resources and opportunities here are fantastic and one thing Staffordshire University has taught me is that everything is achieved through hard work and dedication.

Hannah Seera

Business Management with a Foundation Year

My successful completion of the CIM marketing courses helped organise my knowledge of marketing and brought my skills up to date. With my background in sales and no previous academic knowledge of marketing, the courses have given me a competitive edge, helped apply the latest marketing practices at the organisation I work for and increased my professional confidence.

Konrad Sowinski

CIM Diploma

I have experienced first-hand just how relevant a Business Management degree from Staffordshire University can be. The theories we learn, practice, and apply to assignments can be similarly applied to real-life business situations. As part of this course, I completed a 12 month Industrial Placement with Aldi. Throughout the Placement I had the opportunity to lead various projects - looking at real business issues – where the models and approaches taught at Staffs proved to be instrumental. A Staffs Business Management degree is your competitive advantage!

Jack Tordoff

Business Management

Our Business Management degree gave cousins Ben and Michael Dyer everything they were hoping for, from approachable, experienced lecturers, to accessing a huge network of businesses in the wider community.

Their business, The National Enterprise Challenge, launched in 2012 and now employs 10 staff. They've worked with Theo Paphitis (pictured) and Lord Sugar, and have recently won the Social Entrepreneurs of the Year award.

Business Management graduates

When Fleur joined Burton Albion, its business side was almost non-existent, but she has overseen huge changes. Last season alone, the club welcomed 105,000 spectators, 8,000 people enjoyed match day hospitality and around 30,000 guests attended a conference or event.

Fleur Robinson

Commercial Director, Burton Albion Football Club

Although I was working at the time, my degree showed me which way I wanted to go with my career. The lectures were great and I still use what I learned now - such as employment law. We learned about HR, finance, marketing - it was a great, well-rounded course.

Kate Fenton

Business

My degree allowed me to take a management position with a retailer in Norfolk, where I practiced a lot of the techniques and processes I developed at Staffs. Within one year I was being promoted up the management structure.
