Our students

I work across all elements of events at Trentham including managing large in house events such as the summer outdoor concerts and project managing external events such as Staffs Uni Graduations. Contract writing, client liaison, contractor and supplier liaison, writing events management plans and risk assessments are all my remit. It's a mixed bag, but I love it. My degree at Staffs was the best thing I've ever done.

Hannah Mannion

Events Manager, The Trentham Estate

This course has taught me many things about how a Business operates, from the marketing and promotional side of the industry to how vital accommodating industry laws and appropriate budgeting is to each department, whilst maintaining high standards of customer service, which are all covered in university lectures.

Nick Kerry

Visitor Attraction and Resort Management FdA

The best thing about studying at Staffs is the experiences you get, the connections that you make and the general friendliness from all of the staff.

Simon Hope

Visitor Attraction and Resort Management FdA Graduate

I can see how the degree helped develop certain skills, both academic and personal, through working with other people or individually. What I liked most about my time at Staffs was the opportunities available to get involved with various events and tourist attractions.
