Example programme

20 minute instructional powerpoint

10-12 minute football highlights programme to be streamed on screens via YouTube or other link

Half an hour prep.

Students then either

  1. Have an hour to write a 250-word match report for use on line or in a newspaper
  2. Record a 60 second match report for “use” on radio
  3. As above but performed to camera for “use” on TV (if on campus, can be filmed on Newsroom set; if off campus and no cameras available, can be recorded on students’ phones effectively)

With feedback, session should take no more than 2 hours.
