Opportunities

SU Global Connections supports our students with international experiences broadening cultural awareness and developing key skills highly valued by future employers. Financial support is available not only through the Turing scheme but also from Staffordshire University Student Support funds.

We offer a range of shorter overseas visits taken in the summer months providing students with life changing, personally enriching, unforgettable experiences; a chance to immerse into local cultures, learn about local traditions, encounter breath-taking landscapes and maybe even learn a new language.

Whatever you decide you can be sure that you will have a life changing experience, develop your skill set, make new friends, and expand your horizons.

Hanyang International Summer School (HISS) is one of Korea’s leading summer programs. Every year, around 2000 students spend 4 weeks at one of Korea’s leading private universities. International Preschool Placements

Sky International Preschool is based in Hanoi, Vietnam. The preschool delivers a child-led play based curriculum to local international students and aims to provide a home-like, nurturing environment, for children aged 18 months to 6 years.

Mahidol University International College Summer School - Bangkok, Thailand

SU Global Connections offers a 4 week summer school for Staffordshire University students, delivered by Mahidol University International College (MUIC). MUIC, located in Bangkok, Thailand, offers a range of international undergraduate and graduate programmes from its impressive campus located on the outskirts of Bangkok.
