Operation Overlord
The event that combines Gaming & The Military, as part of a 3-day Esports Exhibition event at Staffordshire University.
Offering multiple gaming events, Nerf, talks and more! It's a great opportunity for those who have never experienced an esports event before to try fps games as well as watch an esports competition.
What’s On
Sign up to take part in a War Hammer III tournament, compete for ‘war bonds’ in the 18+ gaming zone or try out fun games including Splatoon and Worms, in The Catalyst.
There will also be a panel discussion with guest speakers from both the military and gaming worlds.
When and where?
LRV, 18+ games with a prize for the player who gains the most war bonds – 10am to 4pm
Military tournament, Esports hub in the Beacon Building – 10am to 4pm
Fun games, The Catalyst – 10am to 4pm
Panel talks, The Catalyst – 1pm to 3pm
