Police Officers in England and Wales are involved in the investigation of a wide variety of offences, from volume crimes (such as burglary) to Serious & Organised crimes (such as kidnapping and murder).
During the Crime Scene House activity, students will be briefed on the case circumstances relating to a specific offence. They will then act as First Officer Attending (FOA) at the scene of the crime, learning the roles and responsibilities of the FOA and putting these into practice in an immersive environment. They will then provide a debrief of the case to their Senior Investigating Officer (SIO).
