Studying Digital and Social Media Marketing

Introducing your course leader, Craig Holdcroft

Hi, I’m Craig Holdcroft and I’m the course leader for the BSc (Hons) Digital and Social Media Marketing course. Having previously studied at University of Staffordshire myself, I bring a wealth of experience from both academia and industry. I founded my own digital marketing agency, focusing on PPC and digital journeys for SMEs across the UK and Europe. I've also held significant roles such as Head of Guerilla Marketing at Foodhub and Senior Digital Marketing Manager for a restaurant franchise.

I'm a proud member of the Institute of Data and Marketing and the Chartered Institute of Marketing. I also have a keen interest in digital disruptive products, particularly in augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies, exploring how AR can enhance the customer journey.

I’m looking forward to welcoming you to the University of Staffordshire and helping you build a successful career in digital marketing.
